What is true love?

What is the meaning of love? I believe that true love means you are willing to go to certain extent to defend your love. It also meant that you are willing to sacrife for your love. In this modern era, in the middle of materialistic world, we often blur the meaning of love. Most people will sacrifice for the sake of material items. For example: Pretty and attractive women often attracted to unattractive but rich men, and vice versa, and keep using the word "Love" to express her or his feelings. Therefore, in a nutshell, to find "True Love" in this modern but materialistic world were not as easy as we thought, just like in the movie.

We could not failed as a person

My cousin shared her thought about the recent HK TV Serial that she watched. In that movie, she learnt about a useful phrase. Let me translate the meaning of it in english. As human being, we could failed or go bankrupt in our businesses, however we could not fail as a person. It means we need to be responsible as an individual for every acts committed. Never run away from your responsible instead face it. When the business failed, we can start all over again, however when we failed as person, we will stay as a loser. On our daily life, including myself, sometimes tend to avoid the problems, that was not good. If we never face the problems, the problems will keep stay there.

CISC

Last Tuesday, I have attended a seminar hold by Cancer Information and Support Centre (CISC) as the volunteer. In there, I have learnt that the cancer patient need a lot of moral support both from himself/herself and family friends. Many people when they were diagnosed with this illness, starting to freak out and confused. They will go to alternative treatments, instead of consulting with medical experts. This step will actually endanger the treatment for patients. There was a lady doctor at her late 20s. When she was diagnosed to have breast cancer stage 1B, instead of going to doctor, she went to alternative treatments around two months. That procedure had actually delayed treatment until when she decided to go to see doctor, the stage had changed from 1B to 3B. From here, we need to realize that time is very important and critical in handling the illnesses.
